intense day that begins with a ride on a dirt road recommended the night before from the old motel and that allows us to see the first canyon in a remote area where you do not see anybody. From there joins us on the scenic Badlands National Park of , much more touristy, but it offers some very nice views over the canyon.
then visit Wall Drug, a mall-style country, however, invaded by an army of bikers, we are in fact close Sturgis and this week held the largest gathering of world with 500,000 motorcycles! At lunchtime we are at a table with a family of bikers: father, mother and two children all very nice. Finally we pass the
Mt Rushmore, famous for the faces of four presidents carved on the rock and Crazy Horse, where they are carving an Indian on horseback. The latter is still in its infancy, but the presidents have a certain effect by chance to see them going up the hairpin bends to the Mount Rushmore.
In the evening there is a KOA campground and sleep in cabins .
